Costa Maya

PSA: Remember to bring your passport and do a check with everyone.

After an almost 5 hour drive from DFW to Galveston, we realized one of our friends forgot their passport back at home. I KNOW! They ended up missing the cruise and took a flight back home. However, the BIGGEST COMEBACK of history. They took a flight back home to take another flight to the closest airport near our first port and then took a 3 hour ride to a hotel near the port. INSANE! They were able to board and join us on our cruise trip.

We did an excursion, which consisted of a tour of the town, tequila tasting, and the beach.

Cozumel

Next stop is Cozumel. Our first excursion, Tulum Mayan Ruins and Playa Del Carmen, was cancelled due to the strong winds. We ended up doing the Island Roots, Honey and Chocolate Traditions since there weren't many options. We still had a blast, they took us on a bus ride around the island. Once we got back to the port, we ended up leaving the port to grab lunch before heading back to the ship.
