After a 2 hour flight to Denver. This was probably the worst landing I've ever experienced. It was so rough to the point I threw up on myself and my jacket. I ended up changing to a clean outfit immediately after finding a restroom, which is why I always recommend having a set of clean clothes in your carryon. Once we made it out to the airport, we had picked up our Turo car we had booked and made the drive to Colorado Springs.
The first day in Denver, we had gone to the Glowing Wild at the Denver Zoo. It was cool being able to see some of the animals after hours on a Sunday. Most of them were already sleeping by the time we arrived. We got to see all the lanterns all around the zoo.
1. Denver Botanic Gardens - absolutely beautiful! 2. The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse - most amazing tea I've ever had. 3. Denver Nuggets - I got to see Jokić live!
Tuesday only consisted of going to Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre to see Lewis Capaldi live. He sounded so good live. The venue was breathtaking.
Wednesday was our last day. We had intended to go to the Rocky Mountains but decided not to due to the rain. We ended up at Meow Wolf and was able to solve the mystery. Later that night, we ended up at Casa Bonita. It honestly was better than what I was expecting. The entertainment there was top notch.
